Life as a constant movement. The impossibility of stopping time gives the impulse of life a special quality. Yet at times, this drive unsettles us and becomes a puzzle that questions our very existence.

What drives us? Where are we going? Do we move forward or return?

In a world full of upheavals, three dancers embark on a search for the forces that propel us, both metaphorically and literally. Through landscapes oscillating between the real and the imaginary—an inner storm, a body defying gravity, a mountain that breaks and rebuilds itself—the bodies create an at times acrobatic choreography that reflects the cyclical human journey.

Wonderground – Movement arts by Roser Tutusaus & Tom Weksler

Roser Tutusaus and Tom Weksler founded WONDERGROUND in 2018.

Their artistic practice explores what they call “contemporary animism.” Their movement language is shaped by a range of disciplines such as martial arts, physical theater, circus, meditation, Butoh, and partnering, reflecting their diverse backgrounds and interests.

In 2022, they opened THE ISLAND, their own creative home near Barcelona, where they host workshops and laboratories that foster artistic research and development.
