DANCE THEATRE FOR THE EARTH
Interested in dance? Do you enjoy traveling and are you committed to protecting the Earth? Then join our trinational youth exchange project between Cape Verde, Germany, and Colombia!
We are looking for young people aged 14 to 16 from Bremen and the surrounding area who are excited about dancing, traveling, and, together with young people from Cape Verde, Germany, and Colombia, making a difference in the world!
During the summer holidays in Bremen in 2026, you will travel to Cape Verde, meet young people from three continents, and live as a guest with a host family on the island of Fogo in Cape Verde, West Africa.
Together, you will dive into the ideas of the “Guardians of the Earth” and discover how you can creatively and actively engage in protecting the Earth as the basis of life for us all.
Schedule
February 2026 to July 2027:
We meet every two weeks on Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Bremen and online with the other participants from Colombia and Cape Verde.
Approx. July 12 to August 15, 2026:
Meeting of the three groups on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde (exact travel dates to be determined, approx. 27 days including travel days).
November 27–30, 2026:
Presentations in Bremen.
In addition, there will be joint activities during the autumn holidays 2026 and the Easter holidays 2027 (each during the first week of the school holidays).
