The workshop encourages active participation, cultural exchange and shared learning. No prior dance experience is required.

About Kathak:

Kathak is one of the classical dance forms of North India. The word Kathak comes from katha, meaning “story”. Traditionally rooted in storytelling, the form combines intricate footwork, rhythmic patterns, spins, graceful and fluid body movements and expressive gestures and facial expressions to convey narrative and emotion.
