Kossi Aholou-Wokawui, fromer dancer with OCN and choreographer from Togo, works with elements such as rhythm, connection to the ground, breathing, and spinal mobility.
He combines traditional West African dances and Caribbean dance (Haiti/Cuba) with Western contemporary dance.
His fusion is a constant dialogue with the cosmos and nature, giving you the feeling of a free body and an open mind. You’ll immerse yourself in the fluidity, energy, and rhythm of grounded movement and elevation—the most important fundamental elements of traditional African dance
